Managing the Stakeholders
On June 17, CFO Magazine and Alex van Groningen organized CFO Day 2010 in Hotel Okura in Amsterdam. We look back at a successful conference which was full of networking and content. We organized several presentations, theme discussions and round tables for the 440 visitors.
The main theme of the CFO Day was Managing the Stakeholders. During the sessions we discussed the corporate environment, which today calls for attention to be paid to all stakeholders and not just to the shareholders.
The programme of CFO Day 2010 has been developed together with several CFOs, knowledge partner Strategic Management Centre (prof. Derkjan van der Leest and prof. Frans Roozen), the head editorial staff of Chief Financial Officer Magazine and the Platinum Partners of CFO Day 2010.
Hereby we would like to thank the speakers and especially the keynote speakers, for their contribution to the programme. The keynote presentation was given by Hans Hoogervorst, Chairman of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets. Also a plenary panel discussion was held between René Hooft Graafland (CFO Heineken), Rolf-Dieter Schwalb (CFO DSM), Bernard ter Haar (Director General for Climate and Environment Ministry of Housing) and Niek Hoek (CEO Delta Lloyd Groep).
We congratulate Pierre-Jean Sivignon (CFO Philips) with winning the CFO Special Achievement Award and Peter Kok (former CFO Delta Lloyd Groep) with winning the CFO Lifetime Achievement Award.

Next year June we will celebrate our second lustrum. We hope to meet you again then.
